Name: Auroth De Luce
Race: Human
Class: Technomagic Lancer
Disciplines Learned:
Astrology
Moderate Alchemy
Decent Fire Magic
Age: 31
Height: 6'3
Weight: 186 Pounds
Hair: Auroth's hair is short and spiked upwards. His hair is naturally blue, nothing artificial addedoir anything. This could be a side effect of the long history of magic practitioners in his family, or just be as natural as brown hair is to another person. Anyways, Auroth also posses a moderate length pony tail on the backside of his head.
Eyes: Auroth's eyes are red, and yet full and very beautiful in the light.
Sex: Male
Build: Auroth is particularly well built, and yet very lithe. He does have a great deal of muscle, but they are very dense to allow the warrior to retain his speed and agility. He basically has an Athletic build. He is well rounded when it comes to muscle distribution; his legs and arm are both well toned, but have the ratio of arm strength to leg strength going to them, albeit they're both very well built.
Appearance: Auroth's outfit and clothing changes daily, however, when it battle he either strides out in his former Bremelian Militia uniform, or in his magical armor. His face is handsome, and young looking for a man of his age... at least 5 years younger. His arms and legs look very rugged and beautiful, as well as his chest. Truth be told, Auroth used Lucian Magic and Shussei Tech to remove any scars or things of that nature while working for them.
In his Body Armor and with spear
When using his spear
Personality: Auroth, by himself, is extremely introspective and deep. After all, he faces death and torture everyday. He spends his time reflecting upon his life and his work and tends to act philosophical if someone finds him this way. Otherwise; when on business or meeting with people the Lancer acts very gregarious and kind, hiding his existential questions in the face of company. However, despite his relative kindness, Auroth still acts like a cut throat; it's his job as a mercenary after all. He won't rush in head strong or act stupid; he'll stand back and observe things with quiet poise. But everyone's human, and Auroth has been known t go berserk on and off the battle field many, many times.
Home Country: Bremelia
History:
Auroth was born into a small village in Bremelia, born into a rustic, but peaceful, life. The village knew little of the outside world beyond magic, alchemy and other things, but they knew very well of war stories and acts of valor upon the battlefield; like all small villages do. As Auroth grew, he started to enjoy these stories of war and battle. Eventually, he was utterly captivated by the military as a boy, wishing to join the Blue Coats who were his heroes at the time. Woe be to him, who knew not of their pathetic and disorganized nature nature. He trained himself daily, neglected hanging out with his friends or being with his family. To Auroth, the Bluet Coats were like Heroes, and he wanted to be a Hero. His parents were missing by the time he could gain a awareness of self, said to have disappeared when working in the field or hunting one day.
Eventually, the boy joined the military when he became a man, his eyes twinkling with Idealism. The reality he found, though, shattered his romantic thoughts of the Blue Coats. He found them disorganized, weak with only a few worth of name, and eventually found that Bremelia herself was nothing more but a pawn for Lucia or Shussei. He couldn't stand it really, the reality destroyed him. All his youthful thoughts about the Blue Coats were destroyed, replaced now by the ugly truth in front of him. He eventually came up with a plan, to rise to the prestigious rank of a captain and change the military.... but instead all he found was more of the sad and ugly truth. Bitter and resentful, Auroth resigned from his post and from the military no more then a few months in the rank, taking with him a large number of officers and soldiers who sympathized with him and also resigned from their rank.
He then formed the White Company, a mercenary band where they could put their military training to make a profit. While most would consider the White Company nothing more but rabble and low-lives, Auroth only takes jobs which align with his idealistic morals. He could be given a stack of money to do something his conscience didn't agree to and turn it down, or take a job that barely paid but was something Auroth was totally for. This Idealism is said to be rare these days, with little profits and no money to support his troops, but all his followers agree with the charismatic captain, all of which call him captain, and would follow him into Death itself.
Recently, the Umberlands have provided jobs for Auroth to take, while not exactly clear to who's good and who's evil, the Lancer is willing to make a few bucks from all this before deciding to side with someone.
Weapon of Choice: The Crimson Wrath
Except imagine it red
Notes about it: It's an Enchanted Spear, given to him as payment for a job he did with the Lucian Grand Army. The weight on it, when activated, is barely felt, and it offers Auroth great accuracy. Also, it has been made highly compatible with magic, and to a very lesser extant Alchemy, and thus allows the man to use the very little knowledge he has about magic with the weapon. Furthermore, it's been enchanted to basically make it so that the spear perhaps never break, only will a extremely potent spell or some extremely powerful force destroy the spear. Also, t it also returns to the Thrower's hand after being projected; be it blatantly (literally flying back toward Auroth), or subtle (A hill that the spear lands on causes the Crimson Wrath to roll to Auroth). Finally, the spear can change it's length at Auroth's will; from 3 Inches to 2 yards to ten yards or even more, although to use a ten yard spear is practically useless in battle....
Side Weapons: A .44 Magnum, two combat knives strapped to the boots and a .308 Winchester.
Armor: Auroth wears a magical set of armor he calls the Azure Guardian. Basically, it is bullet proof, but like all magical bullet proof thing it can eventually be broken after repeated being shot at. The suit itself offers protection for Auroth everywhere but the head. Furthermore, when activated it becomes nearly weightless, equally street clothes someone would wear. This allows Auroth to move with great speed, and superb protection. When not activated, the armor takes the form of a ring around Auroth's finger. This was a reward that Auroth received for working with the Lucian Grand Army and succeeding exceptionally on his assignment.
Fighting Style: Auroth mainly uses his spear as his weapon, jabbing forward and into close combat with it. He would project his spear outward and basically try to stab his foe to death. If that doesn't work and he ends up in close combat, then Auroth will use the spear as if it were a long staff, using both ends to strike and the middle to defend with. If rushing isn't an option and range combat ensures, then Auroth would use either his magnum or winchester to get the job done. Alternatively, he could extend and un-extend his spear so that it can jab forward and move back from a distance, but Auroth fears what if someone grabs the end of his weapon of choice. Finally, he would use his two combat knives only in extremely close quarter combat, or when his spear isn't on hand.
Strengths: Auroth is very well rounded. He uses both range and close combat (Although prefers melee combat), his strength and his speed, magic and technology, and overall is extremely crafty. While he does lean more toward melee combat than range, he does both actions very well with careful and good degrees of success. Innovation is key here, as he uses his mind to outwit specialized opponents and defeat them. On that note, his other greatest strength his his cool, observant and aware head; allowing the man to formulate strategies to win battles or fights.
Weaknesses: However, a range specialized opponent can defeat Auroth if they stick to their specialty. Once in melee, one would need to be able to out think and out act Auroth in order to defeat him. Finally, if prodded long and hard enough about sensitive issues (like how the Bremelian military sucks or about his fallen comrades), then the man could go berserk. While a boast to his speed and strength would occur, he would lose his greatest advantages: Knowledge and Awareness. His berserk nature could stop after a while though, and return the Lancer to his old, thinking self.
